We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data (e.g., health, biometric, precise geolocation) unless you instruct us to and we agree in writing.

3.3 Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR apply, our processing bases include:

Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to provide the Service you request;

Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to secure and improve the Service;

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): for optional cookies and certain marketing;

Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): to comply with laws.

4) Sharing of Information

We share information with:

Service Providers/Sub-Processors (hosting, storage, customer support, email, logging, analytics, payment processing) under confidentiality and data protection terms;

Connected Platforms at your instruction;

Enterprise Admins where your account is provisioned by an organization;

Professional Advisors (legal, accounting);

Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security;

Business Transfers in connection with mergers, financing, or acquisitions (subject to continuity of protections).

We do not “sell” personal information as defined under certain privacy laws, nor do we use Customer Data for targeted advertising. We may use limited account data for our own marketing with your consent or where permitted by law; you can opt out.

5) International Transfers

We may transfer and process information in countries other than where it was collected. When transferring personal data internationally (including to the United States), we rely on recognized safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures where required.

6) Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customer Data is retained per your subscription settings and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after termination or your deletion request, subject to legal holds and backup cycles.

7) Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and logging. No security practice is perfect; we maintain an incident response program and will notify you of breaches as required by law.

8) Your Rights

8.1 EEA/UK/Switzerland

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8.2 California (CCPA/CPRA)

We act as a business for account/billing data and as a service provider/contractor for Customer Data. California residents may request:

Right to Know (access specific pieces and categories),

Right to Delete,

Right to Correct, and

Right to Opt Out of Sharing (we do not “sell” personal information; we do not share for cross-context behavioral advertising).

We will not discriminate for exercising rights.

8.3 Other Regions

Depending on your location, you may have similar rights. Contact us to exercise them.

How to exercise: email privacy@bizview.io

with your request, your region, and verification details. For Customer Data we process as a processor, contact your organization’s administrator; we will support them as required.

9) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use:

Essential cookies: login/session security, fraud prevention.

Analytics cookies: product analytics and performance—used with consent where required.

You can control cookies via browser settings and our consent banner (if applicable). Blocking essential cookies may break the Service.

10) Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or under the age of digital consent where applicable. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us to request deletion.

11) Data Processing as a Service Provider/Processor

When we process Customer Data on your behalf:

We process per your instructions and the DPA (if executed).

We implement security measures appropriate to risk.

We engage sub-processors under written agreements with equivalent protections and maintain a list upon request.

We assist with data subject requests and incident notifications as required by law and the DPA.

Upon termination, we delete or return Customer Data per your choice, subject to lawful retention.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., email or in-app). Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
